FERNDALE, Calif. — April 27, 2025 — The Ferndale Unified School District (FUSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kyla Baxley to its Board of Trustees. Baxley brings a wealth of experience in public service and a deep commitment to the Ferndale community.
A lifelong resident of Humboldt County, Baxley has dedicated her career to serving the public. She has held various roles in local law enforcement and community organizations, demonstrating a steadfast commitment to justice and community engagement. Her background includes significant experience in investigative work and collaboration with multiple agencies, which will be invaluable in her new role on the Board.
“I am honored to join the Ferndale Unified School District Board of Trustees,” said Baxley. “Education is the cornerstone of our community, and I am committed to supporting our students, teachers, and families to ensure a bright future for all.”
