Missing! Russ Jackson’s Science Journal
is missing. If anyone has seen it or

Summer job working
outdoors at the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge Complex in Loleta from
June 24 through August 16: 15-18 year
olds should apply. Two, 5 person crews
(one in Arcata and one in Loleta) $8.00
per hour. Applications available on line

Humboldt County
Teen Court: early diversion
opportunities offered for first-time, low-level juvenile offenders. Teen Court
offers opportunities to offending and non-offending youth to positively
contribute to their communities and to empower youth to be accountable for
their offenses through restorative justice processes. This is done through peer accountability,
education opportunities, youth leadership trainings, AOD Brief Interventions
and a youth court where teen volunteers hear real juvenile criminal cases and
determine a restorative sentence that Teen Court monitors.
14.
California
Conservation Corps: in Fortuna – limited time job opening available, 30-40
hours per week. Term is for a total of
60 working days. Duties include general
office tasks such as answering phones, receiving mail, assisting with fleet
administration, processing workers’ compensation documents, timekeeping, etc. Position to begin immediately. Interested parties email resume to Brenda.syverson@ccc.ca.gov. No phone calls please.

Starting May 1st
there will be a daily drawing for the prizes shown below. When you purchase a ticket from PaSTA you will have many opportunities to win one of the
prizes, and even if you win a prize for one day, your name will be re-entered
for further drawings for the rest of the month.
Tickets are
$10.00 and the money will be used to support the Safe and Sober party at the
end of the year. All Ferndale High
School students are invited and encouraged to attend the Safe and Sober
